Even while you're getting your beauty rest, you can take steps to protect your hair from damage:
Silk or Satin Pillowcase.
Switch from a traditional cotton pillowcase to
one made of silk or satin. These smoother materials reduce friction between your hair and the pillow as you toss and turn, which can minimize breakage, prevent tangles, and reduce frizz.

Loose Braid or Bun (1 minute):
Before going to bed, loosely braid your hair or put it in a high, loose bun. This helps keep your hair contained and prevents it from getting tangled and pulled during the night. Avoid tight braids or buns, which can cause tension and breakage.
